According to Malcolm Levene and Jorgen Sundberg, whom The Mail on Sunday dubbed a “social networking guru,” it all has to do with personal branding.
Just take a moment and think about what makes a great entertainer, politician or speaker memorable? It is because people find them interesting, they know the secrets of creating a great impression on others. This only comes naturally for very few, for most people it is a learned trait.
Malcolm Levene states, “We only get 10-seconds to make a good 1st impression.” Levene was a personal branding coach to Tony Blair.
“Several factors must come into play for a person to effectively develop personal branding. They must have undisputed credibility, empathy which makes you likeable, and being a great communicator makes you a leader whether in business or in personal relationships. All in all, there are ten keys to the secrets of personal branding” Levene stated.
Malcolm Levene will be co-presenting a workshop with Jorgen Sundberg a workshop called Personal Branding From the Inside Out. During the workshop they will give all ten steps to becoming memorable through personal branding.
Why the title, Personal Branding From the Inside Out, for the workshop? Levene explained, “Research done in the USA and the UK supports the fact that through very simple, easy to use, proven exercises in resilience, optimism, gratitude and courage, we can transcend fear and emotional disruptions and we can become more joyful as we flourish. Branding begins on the inside of us first. We will be providing exercises that will help to improve personal levels of positiveness and optimism.”
The workshop will be held on Wednesday the 8th of February 2012 from 9am to 5pm. The venue is St. John Hotel, 1 Leicester St, WC2H 7BL, close to Leicester Square in Central London. Included will be a lunch and refreshments throughout the day. Full details are available by visiting the website.
