After you have booked your professional carpet cleaning service over the phone and had prepared your floor coverings by removing valuable items away from them, it comes the time for the real works to be carried out. Professional carpet cleaners know the importance of a well-planned and tested procedure which will help them for a successful and efficient service. First, the carpet cleaner will introduce himself. Then he will take a closer look and inspect the specified areas to be cleaned and check if stain removal is required. The carpet technicians will inform you of any possible damages that you may already have or stains, which they think might be beyond cleaning.

SAFETY IN MIND

The carpet cleaner will make sure there is proper ventilation, particularly in the case that solvents will be used. He will pay close attention to the moisture levels of the carpets that are being cleaned. Customer will be notified every step of the way for unfavourable pre-existing conditions. Children and pets will not be allowed in the area works are carried out.

CLEANING PROCEDURE

Carpet cleaners will vacuum all areas with professional equipment which will ensure they remove as much dry soil as possible before the extraction cleaning begins. Next step is to identify the fabric to be cleaned as some fabrics such as wool need specific care and treatment. Tough stains will be checked and pre-spotted using the very latest Prochem products. The carpet cleaning extracting machine we use heats the water to a high temperature and then shoots it together with the cleaning agent used into the carpet pile under high pressure. This helps to break up dirt and bacteria in the carpet which is immediately extracted by a high suction vacuum system. The procedure ensures a residue free rinse that keeps the integrity of the carpet. The carpet cleaner will still carry out inspection for residual soiling and staining and rectify any issues. Foil will be placed under furniture legs to prevent marks coming off onto the freshly cleaned carpeting. Any splashes will be removed off skirting boards.

LAST STEPS

Professional carpet cleaners will remove their materials used from the cleaning area. They will advise the client when will be a good time to walk on the cleaned carpets directly; in any case it will be at least three to four hours upon the professional cleaning procedure. Finally, the client will be informed regarding any residual stains that were not removed.
