Market Press Release – February 22, 2012 10:31 am – Different Universities offer different management programs. However, two-year full time MBA programme is the most common programme in all these Universities. Most of these Universities conduct their own admission test and also consider score cards of standard common admission test like CAT, XAT or MAT.
NMIMS, Mumbai: It offers full-time MBA programmes including its flagship MBA, MBA (Pharmaceutical Management), MBA (Capital Markets), MBA (Acturial Science), MBA (Banking), MBA (HR), MBA (Entrepreneurship & Family Business).NMIMS conducts its own MBA entrance exam, NMAT which is a computer based exam conducted in a window of about three months.
VIT University, Chennai: The two-year full time MBA offered by the University includes MBA and MBA - International Business. The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT, XAT, MAT or GMAT scores. Final selection is made through GD and PI.
SRM University, Chennai: SRM University offers two-year MBA programme and one year PGPM and PGPRM programmes.The University conducts its own entrance test. However candidates with valid score in GMAT, CAT, MAT, XAT, TANCET can also apply for its MBA programme. Shortlisted candidates are called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
UPES, Dehradun: University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES) Dehradun offers a host of sector specific MBA programmes such as MBA Aviation Management, MBA Energy Trading, MBA International Business, MBA Information Systems Management, MBA Infrastructure Management, MBA Logistics & Supply Chain Management, MBA Oil & Gas Management, MBA Port & Shipping Management and MBA Power Management.
Alliance University, Bangalore: The University offers a two-year full time MBA programme. Admission process for the MBA programme at Alliance University comprises Alliance Aptitude Test (AAT), Oral Extempore Presentation, GD and PI. Jindal Global Business School, OP Jindal Global University, Sonepat, Haryana: The Jindal Global Business School under the OP Jindal Global University offers two-year full time MBA programme. It also offers a Corporate MBA programme where students undertake first year courses alongside students of the two-year MBA programme. The admission is based on the scores of CAT, XAT and other standard common test. A personal interview and psychometric test is conducted to make final selection.
Sharda University, Delhi NCR: The University offers different sector-specific MBA programmes including MBA - Health Care & Hospital Administration, MBA - Infrastructure Management, MBA - Banking & Finance, MBA - Technology Management, and MBA - International Business.
The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their scores in CAT, MAT, SAT, GMAT exams. Candidates can also appear for SURE (Sharda University Record Exam) for admission to the MBA programmes. The final selection is based on Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). J K Lakshmipat University, Jaipur (Rajasthan): The University offers different MBA programmes including MBA (Full Time Residential), MBA (Family Business & Entrepreneurship), and MEA (Master of Educational Administration).
Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune: The University offers different two-year MBA Programme with specialization in Finance, Human Resources, Marketing and Operations Management. The university conducts its own test, SNAP, for admission to its MBA programmes. The final selection is based on overall performance in SNAP Test, Group Interaction, and Personal Interaction.
GITAM Institute of Management, GITAM University (Vishakhapatnam/Hyderabad): The University offers three MBA Programmes including MBA in International Business, MBA in Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and MBA in International Banking and Financial Management. The institute shortlists candidates on the basis of their score in CAT, IIFT, GET, GET, XAT, MAT, GMAT. This is followed by a GD and PI for making final selection.
Jaypee Business School (JBS), Jaypee Institute of Technology (Deemed University), Delhi-NCR: The University offers two- year full time MBA. Applicants seeking admission to the management programme need to have score card of CAT, MAT, GMAT. Short-listed applicants are called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The final selection is based on the Test Score, language proficiency, work experience and performance in the GD & PI. School of Management, Galgotias University, Delhi-NCR: The University offers two MBA programmes including MBA and MBA in Health Care Management. Both of these are two year full-time management programmes. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of score cards of CAT, XAT and MAT. The final admission is based on the overall performance in English Essay Test conducted by the institute, academic records and Personal Interview (PI).
