Pretty much every Smartphone these days comes with a number of multimedia functions included as standard. Several parts of the phone contribute to its multimedia capabilities. These range from having a good screen, a decent internet connection, as well as compatibility with several different file types. The HTC Rhyme ticks all of these boxes, thanks to its high resolution 3.7 inch LCD capacitive touchscreen, and internet connection provided by both Wi-Fi and HSDPA (the latter of which provides fast download speeds of up to 14.4 MB per second). Multiple music and video file types are supported by the handset such as MP3 and MP4 as well as some more obscure file types. In order to keep your files stored safely on the handset, there is 4 GB of storage included as standard. This is fine to get things started off that but there is also the added bonus of a pre-installed 8 GB memory card in the micro SD slot. This can be replaced with a card of up to 32 GB, so users have plenty of storage at their disposal.
Of course, there is much more to the HTC Rhyme than its social networking and multimedia capabilities, however this is an area where it particularly stands out. If social networking and multimedia use is an important aspect of smartphone functionality to you, the HTC Rhyme comes highly recommended. It is available now on a number of UK networks and the handset can even be picked up for free on selected tariffs.
