Phoenix, AZ -- Hollywood 27 Alternative Radio, one of the best sources for free radio online, unveils The Shins as Artist of the Month in June.
One of the top Alternative stations on the LIVE 365 network brings out their early pick for album of the year in June. PORT OF MORROW is DJ Eric Battersby's favorite listen thus far in 2012, and he's giving away copies of the The Shins new album this month to further promote the outstanding music.
“I didn't really get into The Shins much until their lead singer, James Mercer, teamed up with Danger Mouse to form Broken Bells,” says DJ Eric. “Broken Bells was my pick for album of the year in 2010. And although we've been playing The Shins for a few years now, PORT OF MORROW raises the bar to a whole new level. I literally can't stop listening to the damn thing, it's worth all the airplay we can give it!” Eric also notes that the station's PORT OF MORROW giveaways begin on Thursday June 14th, and all it takes is a quick email or Live 365 Shout-Out to win.
