The HTC Evo 3D runs the latest version of the Android OS (v2.3 aka Gingerbread). Alongside the HTC Sense UI (HTC’s custom Android user interface), users are able to customise the handset to a high degree. Up to seven customisable homescreens can be assigned, and these can then be customised with widgets and apps, as well as the multiple themes, colour schemes and other items available included on the handset with additional ones available via HTC Hub and Android Market.

There is plenty of storage potential in the HTC Evo 3D. Although there is a modest 1 GB of storage within the handset, users also have the option to utilise the micro SD slot which can house a card of up to 32 GB. Therefore a large music collection or a good number of videos, photos and downloaded applications can be stored comfortably on the handset.
The handset also boasts a dual-core processor, and at 1.2 GHz, it provides all the computing power your phone will ever need to run demanding applications. The processor also lends itself to efficient multitasking, as well as various aspects of the hardware, like the response times of the touchscreen.
The camera is one of the features of the HTC Evo 3D to contain 3D technology. Thanks to the stereoscopic camera, two separate images are taken at different distances, and when they are displayed on the 3D screen simultaneously, it tricks the viewer into thinking that they are looking at a three-dimensional image. The camera can shoot 3D images in at 2 megapixels, whilst standard photos can be captures in better quality at 5 megapixels.
The HTC Evo 3D provides a similar smartphone experience to the likes of the popular HTC Sensation, as much the hardware and indeed software is the same. The main difference is the 3D technology, so it you are a technology enthusiast or you are looking for an alternative to the popular smartphone models which seem to be dominating the smartphone market nowadays, the HTC Evo 3D comes highly recommended.
