The Blackberry Bold 9790 does incorporate a capacitive touchscreen but there is also an optical trackpad located beneath the screen. This trackpad is perfect tool for web browsing as it offers precise navigation similar to what you would expect from a mouse on a desktop computer. When you choose to use this type of navigation rather than the screen a pointer automatically appears on the screen. The one negative aspect to the browser on the Bold 9790 is that it offers no Flash support. This means that flash video that is embedded in any site cannot be played back which is a slight disappointment however his can be forgiven however considering how well the phone performs in all other areas. Users should have no concerns about getting a good internet connection with the phone as it sports multiple connectivity options.
