Market Press Release – October 15, 2009 12:29 pm – In an effort to refurbish its identity to keep up with modern technological appeal and ease of use, the Tampa Bay Advertising Federation sought a St. Petersburg Web design company to develop a catchy Web site to match the chapter’s new name, American Advertising Federation Tampa Bay.
AAF Tampa Bay chose JCTWEB.com to build a user-friendly Web site, www.aaf-tampabay.org, that is “more in line with the Web site styles of today,” says Angie Howard, president of AAF Tampa Bay. An updated design “unifies the greater Tampa Bay area reach of the Advertising Federation,” says Jim Shumate, vice president of JCTWEB.
The chapter now uses JCTWEB.com’s RapidVector® content management system to maintain its site.
“As a non-profit, volunteer organization, we needed a partner that would help us create a first-class Web site that could easily be maintained and updated by multiple volunteers,” says Howard. JCTWEB.com staff trained a few of the chapter’s board members on how to use the system.
The new Web site is an instrument for AAF-Tampa Bay to communicate and relay the benefits the chapter has to offer to its members. As the chapter grows, Howard views the site as “a key tool in our success,” she says.
AAF Tampa Bay, a chapter of the greater AAF, is a member-based organization that promotes partnership, instruction, and career opportunities for advertisers and people who have media-related experience. Job-seekers can find employment ranging from Web Designer to Copywriter to Media Director and more via the Web site.
