Market Press Release – January 18, 2012 3:36 am – One of the least mentioned aspects of E-Cigarettes is how they can save you a tremendous amount of money over tobacco cigarettes.
The cost of traditional cigarettes varies greatly across the country and between brands of cigarettes, from a low of $4.74 in West Virginia to a high of $11 in New York, and averages out to just under $7 per pack or $70 a carton. This of course omits the increased insurance costs and health care costs down the road, but just focuses on the dollar for dollar comparison right now.
So, if a person spends on average $7 and smokes a pack a day, they will spend around $2,555 (365 x $7) per year. If you smoke two packs a day, the average person would spend $5,110, and if you have the misfortune of living in New York and you smoke two packs a day, you will spend over $8,000 (2 packs x $11 x 365) each year you smoke.
E-cigarettes by comparison last about 8 cigarettes worth per refill cartridge for the mini-style. For the larger tank models, they can hold the equivalent of 2-4 packs by using E-liquid or E-juice, which is even cheaper. So, just using the cartridge example, our cartridges refills are $1.25 each or lets just round up to $3 to get to the equivalent of 20 cigarettes. Right there, you have reduced your costs by almost 60%. This is of course for the average smoker paying an average price for a pack of cigarettes. Total savings in over 10 years is the not insignificant sum of $14,600 and you still get to enjoy smoking.
I can’t imagine how there could be anyone living in New York state that smokes 2 packs a day of tobacco cigarettes. They are spending $22 a day when they could spend $6 or a savings of 63%. This smoker could save over $5,000 a year. Over 10 years, you would save $50,000 or enough to buy a Mustang GT500 cash. Even the one pack a day smoker could save a respectable
Now, given these numbers, even on the low end at one pack a day, I can’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t at least pick up a trial kit for less than $30 from www.smokepower.com. A two pack a day smoker in New York can get smoke power pack for just $3 more than what they spend each day.
