All are welcome from around the world, to participate in Shabdkoshish Chunouti - the first ever open international live online Hindi word game competition. Participants can demonstrate their entire range of Hindi vocabulary with this fun and edutaining online competition series. This is expected to exponentially encourage a contemporary engagement with Hindi, starting this Hindi Divas.
Registration for the Tournament is free on the site www.hindi.shabdkoshish.com
On the 14th, 15th and 16th September 2012, about 45 minutes before the competition goes live, registered members from around the world, will need to log in and go to the “My Account” page. Here on the left, a blue “shabdkoshish chunouti” link, with the forthcoming competition time will be available. When clicked, the “shabdkoshish chunouti” game screen will load. The timers on the screen will show how much time is left for the competition to start. Exactly one minute before the competition, a loud bell will sound, indicating that one minute is left, followed by a countdown of short beeps. At the competition time, a long beep will sound, and tiles will appear on the screen.
Players will have only 2 minutes to drag, drop and arrange letters and symbols, to make as many valid inter-connected Hindi words. 10 seconds before the game is to end, a countdown of short beeps will sound, followed by a long beep signaling the end of the competition. The Tiles and words will disappear, and only the final score of the participant would be visible. This score will be configured in the Shabdkoshish database. Winners will be declared on the “Shabdkoshish Chunouti Winners” page. Special certificates will be mailed to Winners and participants and the image and username of the winner will be displayed on the main page, besides token cash prizes for the main winners.
Players can practice playing the online game freely available on the site, using the “competition” level.
