External Design
The look is somewhat more advanced than its predecessors. The phone is not edgy in terms of the design but it holds a shape similar to HTC phones before it. The gloss can be very convenient during operation as the fingers can simply slide over its surface. On the negative side, this can be difficult when taking the phone outdoors on a sunny day as glossiness may add glare to the screen.

It boasts many impressive characteristics such as multiple customisable homescreens, access to extra downloadable widgets and apps, and the handy active lockscreen, which allows users to access applications straight from the lock screen.

The phone has a good photography package as the HTC Sensation is equipped with an 8 megapixel camera. The high pixel count assures users of the great picture quality, while it remains easy to use thanks to added extras like autofocus, image stabilisation and face detection. Also included in the phone’s structure is a dual-LED flash. This makes it very useful especially when shooting under low light situation. Videos are also very good, thanks to its dual-core CPU, 1080p (full HD) video quality at 30f/s can be achieved.
Performance and battery life
Performance is close to perfect. Even if the phone is multitasking, loading is still snappy. Battery life is also surprisingly long. A fully charged battery is noted to last for a couple of days even with average usage of applications, games and videos. This is quite astonishing considering that the screen is big and there are 2 CPU cores operating simultaneously.
