Losing weight is something everyone wants to do, but not many people can do it easily, some lack technique, others lack motivation. Here are some quick tips to help you burn fat fast and get a thinner figure in no time.

DIET - That’s the one word that has the most weight in the weight loss scenario. Maintaining your diet with dedication is the key to losing weight fast. Reduce the intake of saturated fats to a healthy point where it contributes 20% of the calories produced by your body. Decrease sugar intake as it makes you crave for more and more food. Start taking fiber rich foods like fruits, vegetables and wholegrain cereals. These will help you feel full while you eat less.

Drink lots of water. LOTS of it. Water helps dissolve minerals and proteins and is necessary for the transfer of nutrients to and waste from our blood cells. It also makes the job of out kidneys easier. If we do not drink enough water the kidneys transfer part of its workload to the liver, which is responsible for the burning of fats in our body. Since it cannot easily handle both tasks at once its potential for fat burning is reduced and the fat in your body is increased.

Try drinking green tea. Studies show that an average person burns about 30-40% extra fat during the day with 3-5 cups a day.

Decrease salt intake. Salt can hold almost 50 times its own weight in water. Taking more than 1 tablespoon a day will cause water retention and weight gain (bloating).

Eat smaller meals. Instead of 3 big meals that will put pressure on your digestive system it is recommended that you eat smaller meals 4-6 times a day. A 15 minute walk to help digestion will go a long way in preventing your stomach from bloating.

Stop with sodas. Carbonated drinks can make you bloat due to the Carbon dioxide present that creates gas pressure on your stomach.

Avoid Chocolate, Coffee and Alcohol. These cause bloating by over exciting the digestive track. Even mediocre amounts of any of these and any other efforts might just go to waste.
