With Love performing well, there is also a lot of buzz surrounding Ricky Rubio who has finally arrived from Spain after being selected 5th overall in 2009. His passing and offensive skill will be something to watch out for when the Minnesota Timberwolves face the Toronto Raptors, and as he continues to develop throughout the season.
The Toronto Raptors will have some momentum after starting off the regular season with a win against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The team’s offense performed extremely well that night with 5 Raptors players scoring in the double digits. Although the Raptors were able to secure the win, their defense still needs some work. The Toronto Raptors defended well and stopped the run made by the Cavaliers, but they cannot continue to afford those little defensive slip ups throughout the remainder of the season. The Raptors have a young roster that they hope can keep up throughout the lockout-shortened season, and match the skill of the Timberwolves young stars that will be looking to improve and impress.
