Chicago, Illinois March 15, 2019: Montparnasse 56 Group proudly announces 360 Chicago and the thrill attraction TILT. 360 Chicago is located at 875 N. Michigan Ave. known as the John Hancock Center on the “Magnificent Mile.” 360 Chicago, formerly known as the John Hancock Observatory, was completely redesigned to include an interactive educational and thrilling attraction known as TILT. 360 Chicago offers breathtaking views of one of the world’s best-loved cities. Its tagline of “Best Views. All Around” comes from the spectacular views 1000 feet above Michigan Avenue from the 94th floor of the building.
360 Chicago is a destination within itself with two shopping levels, a café, the fastest elevators in North America (which travel 1,800 feet/549 meters per minute), arrive at the interactive observation center in 40 seconds.
Eighteen high-definition, touch-screen, interactive educational systems were installed to help enhance the visitor’s experience. Visitors can learn about various sights including architecture, culture, history and the scenery. Even during inclement weather, you can learn about the various buildings and the touch screens provide a panoramic view of the city.
A multimedia audio tour provides interesting facts and history for both children and adults in eight languages including English, French, Spanish, German, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Italian and Brazilian Portuguese.
TILT is a glass and steel moveable platform which is completely enclosed. It holds eight visitors at a time for an adventurous bird’s eye view of the city. The platform slowly tilts outward giving visitors downward-facing views of the city below.
