Market Press Release – June 29, 2010 6:43 am – An LED (Light Emitting Diode) is a semiconductor that converts electricity into light. LED Lighting has been around since the 1960's. In recent years LED technology has made great strides in high efficiency, low heat, high output, safe and environmentally friendly lighting.
