One of the 1850 exhibitors was Pitney Bowes, the business communications specialist. Pitney Bowes have recently launched a new product, part of the Intellijet Printing System. An update on their vast range of intellijet products, the new printing system incorporates all the key elements of the previous products to perfectly enhance the way in which businesses and professionals undertake their printing based needs. Originally announced on the 3rd of May, Pitney Bowes undertook the formal launch of the product during the Drupa event to industry relevant experts and interested parties. Both hardware and Software improvements have been made to the intellijet system to meet the needs of all who utilise the machinery. The hardware updates enables full density monochrome printing at significantly faster speeds. The update has seen the quality of the colour range and the general look improve dramatically. Updating the software of the intellijet system has increased the performance processor and is also substantially kinder to the environment. The perfect balance between quality and cost has been found with this product. Although the Intellijet Printing System, designed for high impact colour communication, was launched in May 2012, it is not available to purchase until the end of July 2012.
