Market Press Release December 19, 2011 6:26 am So you want to take and teach ski instructor courses but do not know if you have what it takes. Do you find yourself hanging out at the closest resort, showing off your talents and getting nowhere? Did you even know that in order to become a ski instructor and teach ski instructor courses you have to take the CSIA exams to become certified as a pro? Actually, you have to take it and pass it both on the course and in the classroom. This is because there is so much more to being an instructor than most people realize. You are there to save people's lives and keep them from bodily harm. You have several options if you want to follow your dream to fruition. There are two types of courses at the top of the heap, Canadian and French Ski courses can last from 6 to 18 weeks depending upon how skilled you really are and how badly you want to reach your goal of being and beating the best in the world. Most people who try to pursue this career end up hurt, retired, or dead
Jump from a Perfectly Good Plane
Do you still think that you have what it takes? Maybe you do and maybe you do not. Ask yourself this. Could you jump from an airplane with a parachute? It is easy to say that you could but unless you have actually stood in the door of an airplane thousands of feet above the ground and looked down, you will never know if you could or not. Ask yourself this, could you jump from an airplane with a parachute if you were uncertain if the chute would open? Let's say that there was a 10% chance that the chute would malfunction. Could you trust yourself to jump then?
Stay Home and Watch on Television
If you said no, stay at home and watch the Olympic ski jumps on your flat screen television. Jumping off the side of a mountain is not much different from jumping out of an airplane. There is one major difference, however that you might want to know before you climb on that ski lift. You have a better chance of surviving an airplane jump than you do surviving plummeting down the mountain at 100 plus miles per hour. By the way, the odds that a parachute will not open on any given jump are 11.99%. Do you still want to be a ski instructor?
Canadian Courses Are Fun
Then you are in luck. The Canadian courses are great for those who think they can handle it. You will never have a better opportunity to see what you are made of. There are courses for everyone from the skiing enthusiast who wants to improve their skills to the high-level competition skier who wants to win. The six-week course is a fantastic place to start if you want to test yourself. There are 11-week courses for those who want to push themselves. Alternatively, there are always the French courses for those who want to kill themselves.
The French Are Completely Insane
That is right, the French offer an 18-week course that is so grueling and challenging that often more than fifty percent of the class walk or are carried out before its completion. You will compete on the toughest mountains in the worlds but when you are finished, you will be more than ready for your CSIA Certification. Follow that dream of teaching ski instructor courses today
if you dare.
