Hypertension is also known as high blood pressure. High blood pressures are classified as primary high blood pressure and secondary high blood pressure. About 95% of the cases have primary high blood pressure and there are no symptoms for blood pressure but long term blood pressure would lead to artery diseases, stroke and heart failure and peripheral damages. • Long time sleep deprivation.

Garlic is gaining so much of popularity in treating high blood pressure. Garlic is a good diuretic that will force to flush out the excessive sodium in your body. You can either take 2 cloves of garlic every morning or you can finely mince it and add it to a glass of water and consume it.

Carrots are rich in beta-carotene, vitamin C and E. they also have higher levels of potassium and magnesium which maintains the water levels in the body and also helps in lowering the blood pressure. Hence consume 2-3 glasses of carrot juice which can counteract on the sodium levels and reduce the blood pressure.

Lycopene is a compound that gives the red color for tomatoes. The lycopene is rich in antioxidants which will reduce LDL the bad cholesterol and prevents the fatty deposits in the arteries termed as atherosclerosis. Tomatoes are also rich in beta-carotene, vitamin E, and potassium. Consuming tomatoes in the forms of sauce, juice and fresh slices added to salads and sandwiches have positive effects on lowering the pressure levels.

Celery flushes out the excessive water from the heart and body, which will eventually reduce the pressure levels. Celery seeds are used in Chinese treatments to reduce blood pressure. You could also add celery seeds to your tea, and much on celery sticks or you can opt on drinking 2-3 glasses of celery juice every day.
