He has opened a third self named restaurant on 8th March 2010 at the mezzanine floor of Selfridges at Oxford. The site was originally The Gallery restaurant. The new restaurant reveals the first ever partnership between Sir Terence Conran and Dorset born chef. The main restaurant competes with the adjacent crustacean bar with its display of the Hix’s signature British grub enhanced with a few global touches with an obvious purpose to please the lunching ladies who arrive as clientele to Selfridges.
