Australia, 30th August 2016: While many esteemed professors, scientists and researchers have abundantly contributed to the field of obstetrics, the contributions done Max Mongelli have changed the way in which this field was perceived in the past.
“Dr. Max has done extensive research on fetal growth and ultrasound, and many of them have been featured in doctoral thesis and other papers. Moreover, he was also an important part of the team that developed a software which is now used all over the world for creating customized antenatal growth charts.” says a spokesperson from Nepean Hospital in Sydney where Dr. Max now works as a full-time obstetrician specialist.
Dr. Mongelli has worked in several countries and has been part of several esteemed organization and institutes. Till date, he has written more than 50 papers in medical journals, and many of these papers have been presented at conferences all over the world.
The spokesperson continues, “He has also co-authored a book along with Professor Tambyraja on fetal growth, titled “The Low Birth Weight Baby”, which was widely appreciated by experts in the field of obstetrics. The book focuses on the importance of birth weight and factors that impact the weight at birth.”
Dr. Mongelli resides in Sydney now where he works as a full-time obstetrician and is also a Fellow at two of Australia’s esteemed obstetricians and gynecologist’s institutes. While his contributions to the field have been integral, he will surely continue to do so in future as well.

Dr. Max Mongelli was born in Italy but emigrated to Australia along with the family when he was a teenager. He topped in the final year of his school and then went through medical training at the University of Sydney. He then went to the United Kingdom for clinical and specialist research training, and this is where he developed interest n disorders related to fetal growth and perinatal medicines.
He is a well-known name in the field of obstetrics and has been the name behind a number of studies, research, and papers. He has co-authored a book on the growth of fetal and has written more than 50 papers in medical journals.
