Joe Mancaruso and www.kidsafeguard.com share with Child Shield U.S.A., its goal of helping to prevent and recover lost, missing, abducted, and runaway children throughout America. According to the United States Department of Justice, these situations befall about one and one half children each year.
This statistic is as frightening as it is true. Unfortunately, far too many American parents have an it cant happen to my kid attitude. This very attitude may be one of the major contributors to this national crisis. According to the Vanished Childrens Alliance, every 40 seconds another child is missing or abducted. We are not helping our children by pretending these things dont happen, says Robin Raskob C.E.O. of Child Shield U.S.A. By not telling our children of these dangers, we are also keeping them vulnerable. To empower our children, you must educate them.
The Primary goal of Child Shield, U.S.A. is to reduce the alarming numbers of lost, missing, abducted and runaway children in America. To this end their Child Safety kit provides an easy to follow educational program designed to empower parents and children with important knowledge that can help to prevent tragedy. These proactive materials provide ongoing reinforcement and help children to retain the important safety information they have learned. Child Shield, U.S.A. is the only organization in the country with a prevention program with over 20 years of statistics proving it works.
The second goal of Child Shield U.S.A. is to furnish parents and law enforcement agencies with a one stop source for invaluable assistance in disseminating information about a missing child and aid in the recovery effort. Child Shield, U.S.A. is prepared to act immediately upon a childs disappearance. Upon being notified of the disappearance of a registered child, Child Shield, U.S.A. will contact the investigating police department and offer assistance by providing video of the missing child. Child Shield, U.S.A. will also make the video available to its database of organizations. This unique database contains hundreds of law enforcement agencies, missing childrens organizations, and national news media contacts. Child Shield, U.S.A. will also make video available to ANY additional destinations the investigating authorities may request. All at no additional cost to the family or police! In addition they have implemented an immediate $50,000 reward for the recovery of the child and arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible. Most rewards are too little to late says President John Raskob by giving an immediate $50,000 reward we hope citizens that would not normally get involved will. One good tip could lead to the Recovery of the child. In addition to the $50,000 reward Child Shield, U.S.A. will put up $2500 to hire a private investigator to help in the recovery.
Within minutes of Child Shield, U.S.A. being notified of a disappearance, video bearing the image of the missing child can be on its way to all the State Missing Childrens Clearinghouses across America, and the F.B.I. with the same speed, video can also be provided to a variety of missing childrens organizations and the production departments of a growing number of nationally-syndicated and network television talk shows and news programs. Child Shields founders spent more than three years researching and developing their child safety before they began marketing it nationally through independent Registered Representatives in March of 1993. With the Growth of Child Shield, U.S.A. its hoped there will be a reduction in the number of abducted and missing children in America.
