The Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray is a stylish phone which measures up at 111x 53x 9.4mm and weighs in at just 100 grams. The front of the handset is dominated by the 3.3 inch LED backlit LCD capacitive touchscreen which operates at a pixel resolution of 480x 854, which is ample enough for multimedia use; in fact it has a higher resolution than the extremely popular Samsung Galaxy S2.

Internet browsing is another area where the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray does a good job, thanks to internet connections provided by 3G coverage and Wi-Fi networks. The latter offers the best connection thanks to faster speeds and less battery consumption, and it does not use up you data allowance which is ideal if you have such restrictions on your contract. Under the hood, there is a 1 GHz processor which processor to provide all the computing power for various aspects of the hardware and software to operate smoothly. Although it is not a dual-core processor found in many new higher end devices, it still provides pleasing performance and you are unlikely to notice the difference unless you are a smartphone enthusiast who is educated on such specifications.
