One of T-Mobile’s best packages is available for £26 per month, and comes with a free HTC Sensation XL handset which is preferable to most than paying the £389 for the SIM free phone. The data is slightly less, at 500 MB per month, however this should not prove to be too much of a problem if you intend to do the majority of your internet browsing over Wi-Fi. In any case, 500 MB is way above the average data usage for consumers in the UK, so unless you are a very frequent user of 3G data, you should be fine with this contract. This also costs a relatively affordable £26 per month and lasts for 24 months after which time you can renew or cancel the contract.

I have looked at some of the more affordable tariffs so far, but if you are willing to spend a bit more every month, then you can enjoy much more generous allowances. This is perfectly demonstrated by the O2 Unlimited plan. As you may have guessed from the name, users are treated to unlimited free calls and text messages to any network at any time. Data is restricted though, with 1 GB provided every month over the network’s 3G coverage. 1 GB is actually a huge amount of data, and it is unlikely that anyone would use that much in a month. Regardless of this, Wi-Fi is of course also free and has no restrictions. This tariff will set you back £67 per month (for 24 months) and includes a free HTC Sensation.

The various tariffs have a each have their own advantages and disadvantages, but provide plenty of choice for potential customers.
